Report, March 2026

VoicePrivacy 2026 is the fourth edition of the VoicePrivacy Challenge, aiming to benchmark voice anonymization systems that conceal speaker identity while preserving linguistic content and emotional information. The 2026 edition introduces a stronger attacker trained on large-scale voice-converted and anonymized speech, and for the first time extends evaluation to a multilingual setting. The challenge comprises two independent tracks: Track 1 focuses on English speech, maintaining the VPC 2024 setup but adding cross-gender trials and privacy evaluation with an attacker ASV model pre-trained on massive voice-converted data and fine-tuned on anonymized English speech. Track 2 targets multilingual anonymization with a single system for French, Spanish, English, and German, evaluated using ASR word error rate, SER unweighted average recall, and ASV equal error rate averaged across languages. Participants receive common datasets, pretrained attacker and utility models, baseline systems, and evaluation scripts, and are invited to submit results, system descriptions, and workshop papers to be presented at a joint VoicePrivacy Challenge and SPSC Symposium event at Interspeech 2026.
